The first build

How to build a website with AI

Write a useful website brief, refine your design by chat, review the mobile preview, and prepare your site for launch with Uvilno.

Start with a business brief

An AI website builder needs a clear purpose more than a long list of visual effects. Explain what the business does, who the site is for, and what a visitor should do next. Give it facts you can stand behind: service names, real contact details, and the locations you actually serve.

In Uvilno, naming a project creates a saved workspace. It does not start generation or spend credits. The project name is an organizational label; describe the public business name separately in your chat brief. Edit the brief before sending it.

Example brief · replace with your details

Build a website for Forma, an architecture studio in London. We design thoughtful residential renovations. Visitors should explore selected projects and email hello@example.com to discuss a renovation. Use a warm editorial feel, generous spacing, and concise English copy. Include projects, our approach, about, and contact. Leave awards and client testimonials out unless I provide them.
  • Name the business and its audience.
  • Choose one primary visitor action.
  • Include verified business information.
  • Describe the feeling and essential sections.
  • State the language and any content to leave out.

Give the builder your own material

A real logo, a few well-chosen photographs, and specific services do more for a website than generic decorative sections. Add your images through the workspace controls. Describe what each image shows and where you want it used. Only upload material you own or have permission to use.

You can leave design decisions to Uvilno. Optional design controls are there when a brand has established colors or typography; they are not required to build. Explicit settings take precedence over conflicting written instructions. Keep the brief focused on the business rather than trying to specify every pixel.

Build, then review the whole page

Send the brief when you are ready. The builder shows progress as it generates, checks, and saves the website. Creating or reopening a draft is separate from this action. A completed build becomes a saved version you can explore in the live preview.

Start with the visitor journey: is the purpose obvious, is the next step easy to find, and does the page answer the questions someone would ask before getting in touch? Scroll through every section. Read the copy as your customer, rather than judging only the hero image.

Use the desktop, tablet, and phone preview controls. Check long headings, navigation, image crops, and button labels at narrow sizes. Click every link. Generated code is checked before saving, but a preview review remains essential before you publish.

Make revisions specific

Ask for one coherent change at a time. Point to the section, explain the issue, and describe the intended result. A precise instruction gives the builder something you can verify. Keep details you like by saying which parts should stay.

Each completed revision is a saved version. You can compare directions and restore an earlier result. Updating draft design settings does not silently change the displayed website; applying them is a separate generation action with its own credit estimate.

Example brief · replace with your details

Keep the palette and project photography. Shorten the opening headline to two lines on mobile, add more space between portfolio items, and change the main contact button to “Discuss your project”. Link it to the contact section.

Check the details that AI cannot verify for you

Confirm every business claim, address, price, and contact destination. Do not publish invented reviews or qualifications. Review image rights, text contrast, keyboard focus, descriptive link labels, and image descriptions. Ask for a unique page title and a concise description that accurately explain your business.

Uvilno exports static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A contact button can link to an email address or a service you already use. A working submission form, payments, member login, or a database needs an appropriate external service or further development; visual form fields alone do not provide those systems.

  • Test navigation and every call to action.
  • Verify copy, prices, contact details, and image rights.
  • Review mobile layout and keyboard navigation.
  • Give the page an accurate title and description.
  • Connect and test any external service before launch.

Separate generation from source ownership

The free plan lets you generate within its credit allowance and explore the preview. A new website starts at 8 credits; an edit starts at 2. Longer output can add credits. The workspace shows the starting estimate, and failed builds release their reservations.

Source export requires a project unlock. A one-time $4.99 unlock stays with that project. Plus includes two unlocks per paid month; Pro and Ultra include unlimited project unlocks. Unlimited downloads are separate from generation credits. Check the current pricing page before choosing a plan.

Once the site is ready, export the complete archive and follow the hosting guide. Keep the images, fonts, and relative folder paths together so the live site matches the preview.
