Terms of Service
Last updated 7 October 2026
1. The service
Kiln lets you describe a website in chat, preview what an AI builds, and, after payment, download the files. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials safe.
3. Credits, plans and unlocks
- AI actions consume credits as shown in the product. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.
- Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel any time in the billing portal; access continues until the period ends.
- A one-time unlock ($10) lets you download the current and future versions of a single project.
- Prices are shown before payment. Taxes may be added where required.
4. Your content and the output
You own the prompts you submit and, subject to third-party licenses of included images and fonts, the sites generated for you. AI output may be similar to output generated for others; we do not guarantee uniqueness. You are responsible for checking that your site is accurate and lawful before publishing it.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Kiln to build sites that are illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, impersonate a brand or person, spread malware, phish, sexualize minors, or promote hate or violence. We run automated moderation and may refuse requests, suspend accounts and remove content that breaks these rules.
6. Availability and AI limits
The service depends on third-party AI providers and may be interrupted or limited. Output can contain mistakes. The service is provided “as is” without warranties to the extent permitted by law.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes. To contact us, reply to any email we send you.
