Uvilno vs Cursor.

Compare Uvilno with Cursor for website projects: visual review versus developer-led code work, current plan pricing and independent hosting responsibilities.

Full-stack evaluation rubric.

Uvilno provides conversation-led frontend generation, schema-declared app data and a $4.99 permanent source unlock for one project. Plus costs $10/month; Pro costs $20/month with unlimited source unlocks during the subscription. Generation and hosted services have separate limits.

The five criteria below allocate 100 possible points. Available documentation and recorded Uvilno checks establish some conditions; they do not establish equivalent performance across products. Overall scores remain unmeasured. Unknown evidence is not treated as a failed capability.

Published by Uvilno. Uvilno appears first as the publisher’s presentation order, not a measured rank. The weights express this publication’s engineering priorities.

An owned, unlocked project can export its runtime-appropriate source and referenced media.

  • A repository handoff is documentedDocumented

Supported frontends can use authorized GitHub import, push and pull; a source push requires unlock.

  • The source-access purchase and its limits are identifiedDocumented

Free is $0; a source unlock is $4.99 once. Plus is $10/month, Pro $20/month and Ultra $59/month. Generation and hosted services are separate.

  • A permanent one-project source purchase is documentedDocumented

The $4.99 purchase permanently unlocks one project's source; subscription generation remains finite.

  • Hosted-service and data-migration boundaries are describedDocumented

Source export is not a copy of managed records, visitor identities, payment credentials or hosted services.

Read the proposed scoring and test protocol

Each listed condition has a five-point allocation. This page records evidence, not awarded performance points. “Documented” identifies a stated capability with its requirements. “Recorded Uvilno check” identifies a named first-party fixture; it is not independent comparative testing. “Unmeasured” leaves the condition open. Source-access purchases, annual subscriptions and operating services are different costs.

  1. Code ownership & export cost

Build the same app, obtain its complete source, record the actual purchase, and rebuild on a separate host. Test continued source access and document the backend services that still need migration.

  2. Database, accounts & app AI

Create, edit and remove the same records; reload; repeat with another account; check record permissions; run a real app-AI request and inspect a triggered automation. Record each managed or external dependency.

  3. Targeted edit precision & speed

Apply the same specified changes to matched projects. Compare exact file deltas, verify the rendered target and unchanged routes, and record end-to-end timings including verification. Publish failures as well as successes.

  4. No-usage editing & recovery

Make the same direct edit and introduce the same reproducible fault. Inspect actual usage ledgers, repair limits and saved-version behavior. A limited free path must not be described as unlimited free coding.

  5. Multi-page & interactive applications

Build and navigate the same route plan, exercise state across pages, then measure frame time and input response on named devices. Framework support or an attractive screenshot does not establish a universal 60 FPS result.

A published 4–8 second edit claim needs timing data. A 60 FPS claim needs a named workload, device and frame-time record. Neither is inferred from feature availability, code export or a screenshot. The recorded checks and open evaluation protocol describe the current measurement boundary.

The full-stack decision.

Key takeaway, October 2026. Uvilno combines typed hosted data, app AI and bounded transactional automations with a permanent $4.99 source unlock. Choose it when that frontend-and-managed-services contract fits your app; compare Cursor's runtime, service limits and handoff against the same requirements.

Where Cursor fits. Choose Cursor when a developer needs an AI-assisted code editor, repository control and flexibility over the application stack.

Where Uvilno fits. Choose Uvilno when the owner wants a conversation-led website preview without starting from a development environment.

Cursor is a coding environment rather than a like-for-like managed website studio. Developer time, deployment and service setup belong in its budget.

Feature summaries reflect the linked documentation. “Requires configuration” is a responsibility to plan for, not a claim that the other product cannot do it.

What was actually verified.

Uvilno's October 27 integration run exercised real hosted services with a code-authored fixture. It was not an independently scored CRM-generation contest or a test of Cursor. We publish the boundary so a passing SDK check cannot be mistaken for a universal build-completion rate.

Look beyond the first preview.

Who is doing the engineering?

Cursor can help a developer implement a wide range of software, which makes a feature checklist misleading unless it includes the work that developer supplies. Uvilno provides a narrower website conversation and preview workflow. Choose based on your team's ability to install dependencies, investigate failures, secure integrations and maintain the result after the initial build.

The current entry tier has a model boundary

The checked Cursor plans differ from older Pro pricing often quoted in comparison articles. Plus includes Cursor's own Grok and Composer models, while third-party models require Premium or above and are billed from prepaid credit. The calculator names the entry-tier assumption; it does not treat every plan as interchangeable access to every model.

Source control is not an operating service

A code editor naturally works with project files, while Uvilno grants source access after the project is unlocked. Neither fact alone provisions a production domain, database or reliable payment flow. If an independent repository is your preferred starting point, Cursor may fit; if reviewing a website before purchasing its source matters more, evaluate Uvilno's flow.

Build your annual budget.

Zero in an optional field means that cost is excluded from this worksheet. It does not mean unlimited or free generation, provider usage, hosting or domains. Taxes, currency conversion and labor are excluded.

Source unlocks persist. This worksheet models new projects at an even monthly pace; Plus's two included unlocks must be used in their paid month. Existing unlocked sites do not require another unlock.

Configured monthly AI capacity: Pro is 2.5× Plus; Ultra is 5× Pro. These are usage-capacity ratios, not a guaranteed number of builds.

Current Plus is $8 monthly or $80 annually upfront. Included Cursor models are Grok and Composer; third-party models are not included on Plus. Premium is $30 monthly for a broader feature set; third-party model usage is billed separately. Legacy Pro pricing is not used. Pricing checked 2026-10-28. See the official pricing source.

Questions before you choose.

Is Cursor Pro $20 still the current entry plan?

The official pages checked on October 28, 2026 list Plus at $8 per month or $80 annually and distinguish legacy plans. Plus includes Cursor's own models; Premium at $30 monthly or $300 annually adds third-party model access billed separately from prepaid credit.

Does Cursor include website hosting?

Treat the coding subscription and the website's production hosting as separate decisions. Choose the runtime, domain and backend services required by your actual codebase.

Can a non-developer build a website with Cursor?

AI assistance can help, but the workflow still involves a development project. Evaluate who will handle installation, errors, integrations and publishing; Uvilno offers a more website-focused preview journey.

Does Uvilno include publishing or unlimited generation?

Publish Studio can serve an explicitly published version, and entitled projects can connect a verified custom domain. Every plan still has finite AI usage and service limits. A permanent source unlock grants source access, not unlimited hosting or generation. External hosting and managed-service migration need separate planning; payments currently use test workflows.
