Uvilno vs Emergent.

Compare Uvilno and Emergent for database-backed apps, isolated accounts, multi-file editing, source ownership and separately budgeted deployment.

Full-stack evaluation rubric.

Uvilno provides conversation-led frontend generation, schema-declared app data and a $4.99 permanent source unlock for one project. Plus costs $10/month; Pro costs $20/month with unlimited source unlocks during the subscription. Generation and hosted services have separate limits.

The five criteria below allocate 100 possible points. Available documentation and recorded Uvilno checks establish some conditions; they do not establish equivalent performance across products. Overall scores remain unmeasured. Unknown evidence is not treated as a failed capability.

Published by Uvilno. Uvilno appears first as the publisher’s presentation order, not a measured rank. The weights express this publication’s engineering priorities.

Read the proposed scoring and test protocol

Each listed condition has a five-point allocation. This page records evidence, not awarded performance points. “Documented” identifies a stated capability with its requirements. “Recorded Uvilno check” identifies a named first-party fixture; it is not independent comparative testing. “Unmeasured” leaves the condition open. Source-access purchases, annual subscriptions and operating services are different costs.

  1. Code ownership & export cost

Build the same app, obtain its complete source, record the actual purchase, and rebuild on a separate host. Test continued source access and document the backend services that still need migration.

  2. Database, accounts & app AI

Create, edit and remove the same records; reload; repeat with another account; check record permissions; run a real app-AI request and inspect a triggered automation. Record each managed or external dependency.

  3. Targeted edit precision & speed

Apply the same specified changes to matched projects. Compare exact file deltas, verify the rendered target and unchanged routes, and record end-to-end timings including verification. Publish failures as well as successes.

  4. No-usage editing & recovery

Make the same direct edit and introduce the same reproducible fault. Inspect actual usage ledgers, repair limits and saved-version behavior. A limited free path must not be described as unlimited free coding.

  5. Multi-page & interactive applications

Build and navigate the same route plan, exercise state across pages, then measure frame time and input response on named devices. Framework support or an attractive screenshot does not establish a universal 60 FPS result.

A published 4–8 second edit claim needs timing data. A 60 FPS claim needs a named workload, device and frame-time record. Neither is inferred from feature availability, code export or a screenshot. The recorded checks and open evaluation protocol describe the current measurement boundary.

The full-stack decision.

Key takeaway, October 2026. Uvilno combines typed hosted data, app AI and bounded transactional automations with a permanent $4.99 source unlock. Choose it when that frontend-and-managed-services contract fits your app; compare Emergent's runtime, service limits and handoff against the same requirements.

Where Emergent fits. Choose Emergent when a full-stack web or mobile application, backend logic and an agent-driven deployment workflow are central to the brief.

Where Uvilno fits. Choose Uvilno for conversation-led frontend apps with typed hosted collections, managed app AI, transactional automations and an individual permanent source unlock.

A broader app platform can remove infrastructure setup, but its runtime and deployment costs belong in the budget. A source handoff still leaves hosting and service configuration to you.

What was actually verified.

Uvilno's October 27 integration run exercised real hosted services with a code-authored fixture. It was not an independently scored CRM-generation contest or a test of Emergent. We publish the boundary so a passing SDK check cannot be mistaken for a universal build-completion rate.

Look beyond the first preview.

A website deliverable or a running application?

Both products can support an app with accounts and saved data. Uvilno supplies validated collection schemas, hosted CRUD, declarative automation rules and app AI behind a frontend-oriented generation workflow. Emergent documents a broader generated backend and deployment environment. Compare a complete journey—write a record, reload, sign in as another user, inspect permissions and handle a failed payment—instead of judging only the first preview.

Deployment is a second resource

Emergent's documentation describes deployment credit consumption separately from building. That makes a subscription price an incomplete operating budget. In Uvilno, the one-time source unlock also does not buy managed production hosting. For either route, include the expected lifetime of the live site, traffic, domain and external services before comparing annual spending.

A repository is one part of an exit plan

Emergent documents source ownership and GitHub handoff, while excluding secrets and data from a source export. Uvilno likewise exports files rather than a complete copy of managed app services. A meaningful portability check includes a local build, environment configuration, asset licenses, data export and a plan for login and payment credentials.

Source unlocks persist. This worksheet models new projects at an even monthly pace; Plus's two included unlocks must be used in their paid month. Existing unlocked sites do not require another unlock.

Configured monthly AI capacity: Pro is 2.5× Plus; Ultra is 5× Pro. These are usage-capacity ratios, not a guaranteed number of builds.

The displayed Standard offer is $20/month equivalent under Annual billing ($240/year). A month-to-month checkout price is not verified here. Deployment and additional credits can add cost. Official pages disagree on the free grant and annual presentation, so neither is assumed here. Pricing checked 2026-10-27. See the official pricing source.

Questions before you choose.

Does Emergent cost only $20 to run a deployed app?

The published Standard entry price is a subscription reference. Deployment and additional credits may add cost; confirm the current checkout and deployment allowance before budgeting.

Can I export from Emergent?

Yes. Emergent documents GitHub saving on Standard and above, and copying code files on all plans. Secrets and database content require separate handling.

Which is a better fit for a small business website?

Uvilno is worth evaluating for a website and source handoff. Evaluate Emergent when the site is also an application with backend behavior. Use your own brief and review the resulting flows.

Does Uvilno include publishing or unlimited generation?

Publish Studio can serve an explicitly published version, and entitled projects can connect a verified custom domain. Every plan still has finite AI usage and service limits. A permanent source unlock grants source access, not unlimited hosting or generation. External hosting and managed-service migration need separate planning; payments currently use test workflows.

The brief is preloaded for you to review. AI generation starts only when you send it. Included usage is limited; source access requires unlock.
