Can the current Stripe connector accept live payments?

A direct answer, the limits that matter, and a practical way to check the workflow.

Direct answer

Uvilno's Stripe Connect and Checkout workflows use test mode. They verify a payment journey without taking money. Live payments require an enabled configuration, provider onboarding and verified fulfillment behavior. A test checkout must never be displayed as actual revenue, settlement or a completed live sale.

Keep test products, prices and success states visibly identified. A frontend redirect after checkout is not sufficient authority to grant a paid entitlement; the real service must verify the corresponding payment state. Test cancellation and webhook replay as well as the happy path.

Before launch, decide who owns the connected account, how refunds work and what happens when payment succeeds but fulfillment fails. Credentials belong on the server. A connector reduces setup steps but does not replace these business and operational decisions.

Read the editable test brief

Plan a small digital-product storefront with product detail, cart and explicitly labeled Stripe test checkout. Keep actual orders empty initially, verify payment state on the server before marking any entitlement, and handle cancellation and failed fulfillment. Do not report test revenue or imply production payments are enabled.

Preparing a brief does not start generation. Review and send it explicitly; builds use the normal allowance, and source access requires entitlement.

Does opening this test use my allowance?

Preparing the test brief does not invoke a model or create a billable build. Review the draft and explicitly send it to generate; normal usage and source entitlement rules apply.
