Does a Next.js source export include a managed backend?

A direct answer, the limits that matter, and a practical way to check the workflow.

Direct answer

A Next.js source export provides project files and build instructions, not ownership of each service it calls. Uvilno's framework output uses a static-export contract. Managed identity, collections, AI and payments remain configured dependencies; arbitrary Server Actions or dynamic backend provisioning are not implied by Next.js.

Framework selection and infrastructure ownership answer different questions. A multi-file App Router project can contain build-time Server Components and interactive Client Components while still requiring external services for persistence. Inspect the actual generated contract instead of assuming the framework name supplies a backend.

On a clean host, install the pinned dependencies and build the export, then exercise routes and media. Register the final supported origin for hosted authentication and decide whether to retain or replace managed services. Never copy platform secrets into browser configuration to make a migration appear complete.

Read the editable test brief

Plan an eligible multi-file Next.js static-export frontend with reusable navigation, clear Server/Client boundaries and a private managed collection workflow. Document external auth and data dependencies in the handoff. Do not create unsupported Server Actions, assume arbitrary backend provisioning, or expose server credentials in exported client code.

Preparing a brief does not start generation. Review and send it explicitly; builds use the normal allowance, and source access requires entitlement.

Preparing the test brief does not invoke a model or create a billable build. Review the draft and explicitly send it to generate; normal usage and source entitlement rules apply.
