Does Uvilno.ai perform real inference?
A direct answer, the limits that matter, and a practical way to check the workflow.
Direct answer
Uvilno.ai.ask and Uvilno.ai.json call a project-authorized server proxy for real configured model inference. They are not canned successful responses. Requests use the creator's finite allowance, have admission limits and a 600-output-token ceiling, and require the managed AI capability and an authenticated app visitor for access.
45-word answer · Reviewed 2026-10-27An AI feature should show pending, limited and failed states in addition to a successful result. Preserve user input when the provider or allowance is unavailable. A returned sentence that happens to match a demo example is not proof of a real request; test a distinct input and observe the application response.
Choose a bounded feature such as a short summary, question set or classification. Do not design a long report around a 600-token response. Keep provider credentials on the server and validate results before saving them into a typed collection or treating them as consequential advice.
What to verify.
| Area | Documented behavior | Your verification |
|---|---|---|
| SDK methods | ask returns text; json parses a bounded structured result. | Send two distinct non-sensitive test inputs. |
| Funding | Actual app inference uses the owner's allowance. | Check the remaining usage and limit response. |
| Access | A real project app session is required. | Confirm platform cookies alone cannot authorize the call. |

Read the editable test brief
Plan a short AI recipe-idea helper with app sign-in and private saved suggestions. Use real Uvilno.ai.ask for concise non-medical ideas, preserve input on errors, and handle allowance limits. Save only accepted results through Uvilno.db. Do not return hardcoded successful responses or expose provider API keys in frontend files.
Preparing a brief does not start generation. Review and send it explicitly; builds use the normal allowance, and source access requires entitlement.
Sources and scope.

Does opening this test use my allowance?
Preparing the test brief does not invoke a model or create a billable build. Review the draft and explicitly send it to generate; normal usage and source entitlement rules apply.
Check the architecture. Compare the tradeoffs.
Follow the data model, account boundary and source handoff before choosing a builder.
