Build discovery before promising a marketplace.

A directory helps people find something. A marketplace also coordinates trust, supply, payment, and fulfillment. Start by deciding which of those jobs your first version actually owns. Uvilno can build a browsable supplied catalog, listing detail routes, and supported enquiry or account workflows. Keep moderation, seller permissions, payouts, and transaction guarantees explicit rather than letting interface labels imply a complete marketplace backend.

AI Directory and Marketplace Builder — Define the Scope

Updated

A good fit when the scope is clear.

Curators and founders validating a focused discovery experience before committing to transaction infrastructure.

Use the route plan to decide what belongs in your first build. Bring your own facts, review the saved result, and expand only when the core journey works.

What should actually work.

  • Search, category filters, and clear-all controls work together with useful no-results guidance.

  • Saved favorites can use browser-local storage when that scope is clearly disclosed.

  • Listing suggestions show genuine submission feedback and an honest review status.

Know the service boundaries.

  • Seller accounts, organization roles, moderation queues, dispute resolution, and payouts need explicit backend design.
  • A submitted listing is not verified, approved, available, or endorsed merely because it appears in the interface.
  • Stripe is currently test mode until live configuration is completed; a marketplace should not imply live transactions or seller payouts.

Three places to begin.
Make one yours.

Choose a direction, change the details, and carry the brief into Uvilno. Sign in, name your project, then review the brief in chat before you explicitly send the first build.

Replace the details with your own. Opening a brief does not start a build or use generation capacity.

From a brief to a result you can review.

Uvilno supports static websites and eligible multi-file Next.js projects. The output, connector setup, and execution limits depend on your project’s actual engine and scope.

  1. Plan the journey

Name the routes, inputs, and expected behavior. Plan mode lets you review and explicitly approve a direction before building.

  2. Build and refine

Review the isolated live preview, check desktop and phone layouts, and ask for focused changes. Recoverable builds can retain saved draft progress within their retention limits.

  3. Keep the work

Use Inspect & Edit for supported mapped text, link, and color changes. Unlock source when ready to inspect, export, or use source GitHub sync.

Questions worth settling first.

What is the difference between a directory and a marketplace?

A directory supports discovery and a handoff. A transactional marketplace also needs the rules and infrastructure for sellers, buyers, availability, payment, fulfillment, and disputes. Name that scope explicitly before building controls.

Can visitors submit listings?

A configured managed form can collect suggestions. Automated publication, moderation, ownership, and editing permissions need an actual data and authorization workflow. Do not treat a contact form as a completed publishing system.

Can the first version include payments?

The current Stripe connector is test mode until live configuration is completed. Live marketplace payments and seller payouts require additional service configuration, business rules, and review beyond a catalog and checkout screen.

What does Uvilno cost, and when can I access source?

Free is $0. A permanent project source unlock is $4.99 once. Plus is $10/month with 2 new project unlocks per paid month; Pro is $20/month and Ultra is $59/month, with unlimited new source unlocks during the paid period. Generation remains usage-limited; the meter shows remaining capacity from 100% to 0%. Already unlocked projects remain downloadable after cancellation.
